The Gemini Group has evolved over 20 plus years in Business. Twin Brothers, Andrew and Tim Hopkins started their Careers as a Panel Beater & Painter for a local Kidderminster Bodyshop in 1986 when they then decided to open their own Bodyshop in Stourport. The Business grew rapidly, and the twins built a new 'state of the art' premises in 1989. The facility in Stourport on Severn was a 50,000 sq ft unit repairing 120 cars per week.

1999 saw the purchase of Tip Top Accident repairs in Kidderminster from the Yarrington Brothers, already an established Family Business which gave the Twins a further 50 cars per week capacity.

2001 came and the Group increased coverage in Stratford upon Avon where the small shop gave 30 repairs per week in the east side of Birmingham. Then, later that year, the Group purchased a further 2 locations in Cheltenham and Hereford. 2002 was a huge success for the Group where 3 more sites came on board with the purchase of the former scuffs sites in Bristol, Gloucester and Wednesbury. 2003 increased to 9 sites when Birmingham was aquired. 2004 and Worcester was purchased. Finally in 2005, the launch of the brown field site in Redditch.

The Group was repairing over 500 cars per week in 2005 with 11 sites throughout the Midlands, when it was sold to Nationwide.
Andrew, Tim and Dave have now reformed and are building up a successful chain of Bodyshops in the Midlands area again. Halesowen came on board with the purchase of the All Electric Bodyshop in July 2008, with Johnsons Volvo Bodyshop and Redditch following later that month. The site needed extensive renovation even to the extent of building a Reception! The site had to gain work provision and we are glad have the new team on board for the next chapter in GVS Bodyshops Ltd.
Dave Sargeants Career started in 1986 as an Apprentice Panel Beater in Lex Body Centres. Within his Apprenticeship he was awarded Bodyshop student of the year at Sandwell College and passed with distinctions in City & Guilds 1,2 and 3.

Throughout his 13 years within the Lex Autobody centres he moved through the various positions, from estimating, parts - to workshop controlling, where the facility was repairing approx 75 cars per week.

In February 1999 he joined Gemini Accident Repair Centre at their only site - Stourport on Severn. The role involved synchronising the Reception, Estimators, Drivers, Valetors and Parts functions with the workshop control. As the Group expanded, Dave gained the position of Operations Manager for the Group.

When the Group was purchased by Nationwide Crash Repairs in 2005, he became a Territory Manager. His 22 years experience gained valuable respect within the organisation UK wide, and his new Territory sites in Walsall, Tamworth, Wednesbury, Warwick, Stratford and Redditch was a top performing Territory within the Business. The formation of GVS Bodyshops Ltd has given Dave the opportunity to manage his own Business.
